What Do You Need Help With?

This blog is a step-by-step series that builds on itself, from understanding why your body feels stuck to creating a life you love again. See the full path and find the best place for you to begin.
If you've ever searched for fibromyalgia help online, you know how overwhelming it can feel. One article says to change your diet. Another says to exercise more. Another says to rest. It's hard to know what matters, what to try first, and how it all fits together.

That's exactly why I created this blog as a series.

In my experience, people with fibromyalgia often make the most progress when they understand what's happening in their body first, and then build from there, one layer at a time. So that's how these posts are organized. Each phase builds on the one before it, starting with why your body seems stuck in survival mode and moving all the way through to creating a full, meaningful life with fibromyalgia.

How To Use This Page

Want the full picture? Start with the first post in Phase 1 and work your way through. At the end of every post, you'll find a link to the next one in the series.

Need help with something specific right now? Jump straight to the phase that fits where you are. If sleep is your biggest struggle, head to Phase 1. If you keep crashing after good days, start with Phase 2. You can always come back to the beginning later.

There's no rush here. Go at a pace that works for your body.

01

Understand Your Body

Before you can change how you feel, it helps to understand what's actually happening. This phase explains the dysfunctional stress response, why it can keep your body stuck in survival mode, and why rest and sleep are the foundation everything else builds on. If you've ever been told your symptoms are "all in your head," start here.

02

Stop Spending Energy You Don't Have

Your energy is limited, and how you spend it matters. This phase covers pacing, the boom-bust cycle that so many people fall into, and the nutrition and digestion basics that help fuel your body day to day.

03

Find What Is Keeping Your Body Activated

Once you understand the stress response, the next question is: what keeps switching it back on? This phase explores the hidden triggers many people never consider, including food reactions, gut health, and chemicals in your environment.

04

Rebuild Your Body

With triggers being addressed, the focus shifts from "what's keeping me stuck?" to "how do I help my body get stronger?" This phase covers movement that helps instead of hurts, how your cells produce energy, and common conditions that can overlap with fibromyalgia.

05

Learn to Handle the Hard Days

Progress doesn't mean never having symptoms again. It means feeling more prepared when they show up. This phase helps you build a flare plan and understand head pain, so hard days feel less like starting over.

06
